Shakespeare & Co. – Pier G, The Pearl Qatar

Overall Review

Stepping inside the restaurant, you’ll be greeted by the ornate decor, colorful, puffy seats and pillows, fringed lamp shades and table covers; it’s like being inside Marie Antoinette’s boudoir (not that I’ve been in there myself).

Right off the bat, we were met by the staff with genuine smiles and greetings. We asked to be seated in their private dining area which was empty that time (what a treat!).

Oredered Food:

Crispy calamari – QR37

It’s okay, tastes like any fried calamari I’ve had from other restaurants.

Spaghetti Frutti di Mare – QR49

This dish was very nice. The pesto tasted fresh and light. The sauce was very tasy and generously sprinkled with parmesan.

  Pizza Margherita – QR41

Thin crust, fresh tomato sauce and full of cheese. What more can you ask for?

Customer Service Review

The staff are very courteous and helpful, attending to your every needs and wants from the moment you step in to the moment you step out.

Price

QR 70 per person (approx., exc. drinks)

Returning?

Yup!

Hey Lou, I live in Wakra and a weekend trip was worth it. This branch is way better than the one at Dar al Salam Mall, space and decor-wise. Their menu is available online, so you might wanna check it first before going 🙂
